Chapman Planning is a consultancy specialising in town and country planning. Our aim is to help communities and individuals engage with planning in a positive way, ensuring that clients are able to understand the complexities of the planning world and get the best outcomes possible.
About
We have 30 years planning experience in planning policy and development management in a local government setting.
Since 2011 and the emergence of Neighbourhood Planning, we have specialised in working with communities to bring forward Neighbourhood Development Plans in a range of communities.
Services
Working with communities and individuals to engage in the UK planning system; providing a bespoke service for Town and Parish Councils to facilitate and produce Neighbourhood Plans; providing training for groups on the national and local requirements for planning; planning applications and appeals, planning backgrounds/history and future developments of localities to facilitate house moves.
Projects
Previous clients have included a range of Parish Councils, mostly in the South East. Different levels of advice or input have been made, from close liaison throughout the whole of the neighbourhood plan production, or simply a check of evidence and policy wording for those communities just needing confidence in their own work.
Individuals have engaged Chapman Planning recently in planning applications and appeals, some clients as applicants and some as objectors.
